In conversation with leading names in the Indian wedding industry, we have explored the wedding trends that gained popularity during the pandemic and have now been widely accepted by millennial couples.
The most common trend I’ve noticed is that people prefer intimate celebrations. People have started appreciating that you don’t need a million people at your wedding; a close-knit family affair with a bunch of your closest friends is all it takes. Covid has explained to us why we don’t need a large gathering & I see people opting for it even today.
A lot of our clients have started preferring allocating their resources to a better wedding venue or even a destination and that’s one of the advantages of having a limited guest list.
These days we are also seeing that couples are generally making everything more intentional, focusing on the guest experience, creating more personalized details, and spending more money per guest to make them feel included in the background.
The most common trend these days is planning a destination wedding, because if we go for a destination wedding then the guest list automatically limits to 150 to 200 guests, and if it much more cost-efficient. Along with that, the guests can also have a different experience which will force them to remember the wedding for a more extended period of time than usual.
